I have signed up on eHarmony Upper Hutt just because my friends persuaded me to do. I was without a partner for more than two years at that time. I have met six girls from eHarmony in Upper Hutt and to my surprise I have found my dream partner. And you wonder what happend then: she became my current girlfriend. Clearly I owe eHarmony a lot, but I was angry when I wanted to cancel my subscription. I have talked to the customer care agent and they first tried to sell me another paid membership which was more expensive than the original one. The cancellation policy is awful. You can't terminate the subscription on the internet and even worse you need to pay until the end of the membership even though you have found a girl. At least it seems I have found my soul mate.

Seriously I think eHarmony is crap. I have regisgtered with eHarmony Upper Hutt a few month ago and my response rate was not convincing at all. The heart of the product, its matchmaking, is not the best. Unfortunately I haven't found my soulmate. My own experience with eHarmony has been very poor. I have purchased a 3 month membership and after two month I have had the impression to receive the same matches all the time. Many eharmony members in my city didn't have a profile picture. This is not an experience I want to pay for. Please be aware that the eHarmony membership will auto-renew if not terminated. Unfortunately I failed when trying to cancel my account and the paid membership renewed automatically. They obviously make it difficult to cancel your paid membership.
