I have registered with eHarmony Gisborne just because my friends pushed me to do. I was living alone for around two years at that time. I have met 5 girls from eHarmony in Gisborne and to my surprise I have found my dream partner. And you wonder what happend then: she's my current girlfriend. Obviously I owe them a lot, but I was upset when I informed them to cancel the service. I have talked to the customer care rep and they first tried to sell me another paid membership which was slightly more expensive than the previous one. The cancellation procedure is horrible. You can't cancel the subscription online and even worse you need to pay the rest of your subscription even though you have found a women. At least it seems I have found my dream girl.

I think eHarmony is not worth signing up. I have signed up on eHarmony Gisborne a few month ago and my response rate was not convincing at all. Matchmaking is eharmonys main product feature and this is poor. Unfortunately I haven't found my soulmate. My personal experience with eHarmony has been disappointing. I have signed up for a 6 month subscription and after four month I have had the feeling to get duplicate introductions all the time. Many eharmony members in my area didn't have a profile picture. This is not something I'm willing to pay for. Please notice that the eHarmony membership will auto-renew if not cancelled. Unfortunately I did something wrong when trying to cancel my account and the subscription was automatically extended. They definitely make it not easy to terminate your paid membership.
